The series offers both PIR human motion detection and 24GHz radar human presence detection, combining a minimalist design, three-step quick installation structure, and high-performance sensing technology to deliver a more efficient and reliable sensing solution for smart spaces.
The Merrytek MSA246 Series features an innovative design combining a hinged bottom cover, quick-connect terminals, and a removable cable clamp, enabling three-step wiring for faster and saving installation and deployment time and costs.
Equipped with Merrytek’s self-developed circularly polarized antenna and 4th-generation Ultra-Sensing Technology, the radar version provides dual-mode detection of both motion and presence within an 8m diameter.
It effectively handles interference from complex environments, including strong reflections from aluminum ceiling panels and ceramic tiles, making it an ideal choice for long-stay applications such as offices, meeting rooms, restrooms, and hotel rooms.
The PIR version adopts Merrytek’s self-developed planar lens. Its segmented and staggered light-entry surface design further enhances infrared detection accuracy,
with a maximum installation height of 6 meters.
The built-in AI anti-interference algorithm effectively reduces false alarms caused by temperature fluctuations, prevents false triggers due to high temperatures, and accurately detects human movement, making it ideal for high-traffic areas such as corridors, hallways, and stairwells.
