On July 10th, as a National-level Specialize, Refined, Unique and Innovative “Little Giant” enterprise, Merrytek welcomed the research guidance of deputy director Zhang of Guangming intellectual property public service center, expert Liu and Dr. Yang of joint expert group (expert of Shenzhen Intellectual Property Office Expert Base), Ms. Kong (evaluation expert of Shenzhen famous brand), Ms. Huang and other people.
Deputy general manger Dai Weiliang of Merrytek and leaders of research and development center gave a warm reception. Both sides had an in-depth communication and discussion about the pilot implement of Innovation Management-Intellectual Property Management Guideline on the basis of international standard ISO56005.
Firstly, both sides had a friendly discussion on the overall situation of Merrytek. With detailed introduction by deputy general manger Dai, the research group got a deep understanding of Merrytek’s comprehensive strength.
As a National-level Specialize, Refined, Unique and Innovative “Little Giant” enterprise, Merrytek has been deeply cultivated in intelligent sensing industry for many years and firmly being the forefront of the industry. Company adheres to self-innovation and owns professional research and development team led by municipal high-level talents and district-level high-level talents, and obtains more than 500 authorized or authorizing patents. Products and solutions based on millimeter wave radar detection technology are greatly applied in fields of smart home, smart office, smart health care, space management and security and protection monitoring.
Then, deputy general manger Dai led the research group to visit exhibition hall on the first floor, having a live experience of intelligent linked multi-scenario. The intuitive showcase of intelligent scenarios helped the research group have a straightforward understanding of Merrytek’s innovative ability and applications of intellectual property.
After then, the research group was divided into two groups, having detailed communication and discussion respectively.
The first group focused on industry development trends, analyzed challenges and existing difficulties encountered by enterprises in the current situation, and specifically introduced government policies related to company intellectual property management.
The second group had an one-to-one communication with Merrytek, examined and evaluated Merrytek’s practical achievements on intellectual property management, and gave high praise of it. The group discussed the implement process, the rating evaluation process, policy guidance and enterprises cultivation plans of international standard ISO56005 Innovation Management-Intellectual Property Management Guideline in details, providing valuable guidance and suggestions for Merrytek.
Both sides reached a consensus that integrating Merrytek’s outstanding advantages in intellectual property management with policies supporting can better facilitate the pilot implementation of international standard ISO56005 and realize a full coverage of 3-year work. To achieve it, the two sides jointly set up an enterprise working group, and established policies support dialogue mechanism. This closer communication bridge ensures fluent information exchange, and helps solve practical challenges promptly.
This research strengthened the cooperation between government and enterprises, provided effective help for Merrytek adhering to international standards and improving intellectual property management, and jointly facilitated the healthy development of regional economy and innovative intellectual property management.
